Good advice does not start with a presentation. But with listening. When Gabriela Fischmeister left her position as a partner at PwC in 2001 to found Coredat, she did so with a clear conviction: individual companies need individual solutions – with the right mix of customizable software and expert advice at eye level.
This attitude still shapes us today. We take the time to listen carefully – and create systems that not only work, but also convince in everyday life. Because we believe that if we enjoy doing our work, our customers should also feel it. And ideally, you will enjoy your own work a little more with our support.
What else do we stand for? Internationally active, locally anchored: Our headquarters and all servers are located in Austria. This creates transparency, legal certainty and data protection at the highest level.

Gabriela is the heart of Coredat: In 2001 she founded Coredat with the vision of finally bringing a “smart” software to the market and is thus our very own Steve Jobs. All her know-how from over 40 years of experience and managing director of several companies is in Coredat. She is an expert in almost everything, including employment law, finance and, in recent years, HR, payroll accounting and the expat sector. Otherwise, she prefers to relax in her garden and on one or the other construction project.
Patrick is a partner and managing director of Coredat. He pulls all the strings: From customer support to software innovation, he is the jack-of-all-trades who always has new ideas and lands projects. Patrick loves team-building events, the Yukka in the meeting room and music – so the only alternative to Coredat would be Dave Grohl Double.
No one knows our customers like Sandra! She has been working in customer care at Coredat since 2017 and can therefore clarify pretty much any concern from the FF. By the way, Sandra likes the employee breakfast and our time tracking best, although she has now secretly lost her heart to the HR tool. On the side, she builds houses and gardens, preferably dancing to the music of Taylor Swift.
We searched for a long time, then Alex came along – luckily, because he develops software like no other! There is nothing in the big programming universe that he doesn’t master. When Alex isn’t putting AI to the test for Coredat, he’s devouring anime or tinkering with his house – he also has a talent for craftsmanship!
It’s really surprising that payroll doesn’t rhyme with Valmir – because Valmir is a true expert in payroll accounting, especially in Germany! That’s exactly why he is the leader of our long-standing payroll team. Valmir is the sunshine in the office, so you can forgive him for his preference for FC Bayern. When he’s not answering complicated billing questions, you’ll find him in the gym or at family celebrations.
Good software needs bright minds who pull the right screws in the background every day. That’s exactly why Ibrahim is with us! However, if you imagine an IT nerd now, you are in the wrong place: Ibrahim rides a motorcycle, is a tutor at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and cooks with passion, sometimes even for us.
At Coredat, we not only take good care of our customers, but also of our team. And no one could do that better than Verena! She has been our HR Manager since 2023 and always has an open ear for all concerns, questions and problems. She also rides passionately, almost as well as Bibi and Tina!

2001
Knowledge becomes software.
In 2001, Gabriela Fischmeister founded Coredat in the heart of Vienna – with a clear idea: put an end to rigid, analogue systems. She not only brought her experience in management consulting with her, but also the aspiration to rethink ERP software: digital, flexible and practical.
What started as a small start-up became a team of developers, strategists and co-thinkers. Gabriela Fischmeister’s know-how resulted in software that makes complex things simple, and long-term partnerships grew from initial customer relationships.
Many can do payroll. We wanted more.
The vision back then? Clearly, don’t stop at payroll, but think about the entire workflow digitally. Time tracking, travel expenses, HR management – everything should be included, all from a single source. And because we never think ahead according to plan, but always with our customers, features such as Data Share and ePayslips have emerged over time. Payroll accounting? Of course, we still can – but today there is much more.
Local servers, global solutions.
What is important to us? That we are from Austria – and will remain so. Our office and servers are located in the middle of Vienna. For our team, this means: beautiful views. For our customers: secure data and clear standards.
What is just as important to us? That we work outside the box. Whether Asia, the Emirates or South America – our software speaks many languages. Or in short: Coredat around the Globe.
Focus: individual advice.
Our basis? Clearly: our customers. From the very beginning, it was important to us not just to deliver software, but to be there in person, with technical know-how and a solution that is technically strong and yet simply works.
With each new project, the customer list grew longer and the team with it. Why? Because more code needs more people. And because we promised ourselves one thing: individual support does not fall by the wayside with us.
Coredat now
We’re a bit like our software: tech-savvy, but anything but dry. Sure, we can depict complex processes, but we can just as well make Christmas decorations (for a good cause, of course) or solve puzzles together in the Escape Room.
Everyone here brings their own skills to the table, and that’s exactly what makes us special. We work as a team, exchange ideas and create space for creative ideas – whether at meetings or lunch.
What drives us? That our customers are happy. And to be honest: If someone says that our time tracking makes everyday work easier, then we know that we are doing it right.
