Info, the: Work records for short-time work

20. March, 2020

In the wake of the situation surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic, there are many questions regarding the topic of short-time work. One thing is important above all: Short-time work MUST also be recorded.

According to labour law experts, the directive will state:

As proof of the number of billable lost hours, the company is obliged to keep working time records (start, end of work, interruptions) for all employees affected by short-time work and to submit them to the AMS on request.

Please also bear this in mind for those for whom you normally do not keep such records (i.e. with beginning and end and interruptions), such as managing directors insured under ASVG under commercial law, sales representatives or “home workers”, for whom otherwise only balances are kept.

We at Coredat will continue to keep you up-to-date and share important information with you – sharing is caring!

Until then: Stay healthy and record your times from home!

Heartily
